Sales & Marketing Executive - Vineyard Hotel

We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Executive who will be responsible for the strategy and execution of all marketing activity and assisting with digital media related ecommerce activity for our group of hotels.

Summary of role:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Sales you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team and assisting with executing the marketing strategy across the hotel group. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Sales team – liaising with the Senior Business Development Manager and Events teams to ensure they have the collateral they need for showcases and events
  • Reporting – collating monthly sales figures from across the group and reporting back in a timely manner
  • Marketing – working within the marketing team to ensure that campaigns are successfully executed and deadlines are met
  • Content writing – to the standard required and ensuring that the tone of voice is in line with brand guidelines
  • Researching – publications and third party sites that you think we help drive awareness and bookings
  • Fielding enquiries – from sales calls to emails from known suppliers.  Ensuring that trivial ones are dealt with and important ones are sent and discussed with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Communication with hotels – ensuring that every piece of marketing, promotion or coverage we are sending out is emailed to all of the team so that they are aware in advance of the publication/eshot etc
  • Assisting with all social media activity whilst building good internal relationships at each hotel, to promote the benefits of them assisting with daily social media interaction

Personal Specification

For this role it is essential that you have some experience in a similar role. Dealing with a multi-site retail/hospitality environment is preferred and you must have experience managing creative content and social media channels.

A positive, can do attitude is essential. You will need to be passionate about our products, have the ability to work under pressure and be results orientated.  Good numeric, literacy and computer skills are essential.
