Tote Operator - Hove

• This is a temporarily position until 21st April 2018.
• Responsible for collecting and checking his/her float from the cashier
• Responsible to report any shortages/overages of immediately to the tote cashier/supervisor and or the Tote Team Leader.
• Responsible for cashiering and cash handling for self and or any other areas assigned by his/her manager.
• Responsible to operate bet ticketing machines(Static & handheld), issuing bets, paying-out dividends to winning tickets in booths as well as other areas such queue busting and Skyline restaurant customer service.
• Responsible for all cash differences in his/her assigned float/till (cash + or -)
• Consistently follow specifications and procedures as specified during training for operating ticketing machines, Think 21 age verification, order processing, cash handling, and reporting.
• Other duties may include general cleaning, sweeping, emptying bins, tidying areas, washing cups/mugs and/or any other reasonable additional cleaning duties assigned by the tote supervisor.

There might be opportunity for successful applicants to be offered a permanent position after 21st April 2018.

You will be required to work within a framework of flexible start/finish times and days to accommodate the business needs from Monday to Sunday inclusive. You are required to be available to work additional shifts on any Sky nights, Boxing day to support the business needs.
