Operations Duty Manager - London

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Duty Manager - Nights to join the team at our stunning hotel. 

It will be your responsibility as Operations Duty Manager - Nights, to oversee the operation of the Hotel from evening through to morning. To be successful as an Operations Duty Manager with Firmdale Hotels, you need to be ambitious and flexible to adapt to a variety of scenarios across the breadth of the business which encompasses Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and the Kitchen.

Main Duties:

  • Monitor our service standards
  • Responsible for the security of the hotel during the night
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks
  • Deliver and maintain the exceptional levels of customer service
  • Establish strong professional relationships with guests
  • Support all departments as needed
  • Run night audits and produce nightly reports for the senior managers (not daily)

Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Head of Department level within a 5* hotel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Resilience and drive to get things right first time
  • Previous knowledge of Micros and Opera is desirable

Hours required:

As an Operations Duty Manager - Nights, you will work full time hours as required by the operation, where some weekends will be required.
