We are currently recruiting for a Press Junket Manager to join and lead our successful Press Junket Department. Taking direction from the General Manager you will run the daily operations of a press junket and ensure a smooth service is sustained. Understanding what it means to deliver exceptional customer service and be able to exceed guest’s expectations is imperative to this role. You should be confident in your knowledge of food and beverage, and have an interest within the Film Industry.

Main Duties

• The running of all Press Junket Events
• Liaison with clients in the lead up to the events and on the day
• Secure new bookings and maintain existing relationships within the industry
• To meet and greet VIP guests and clients and cater for all requests they make
• To have a good command of the menus and ability to make recommendations to suit the guest’s requirements
• Establish strong and professional relationships with guests
• To describe and upsell products to the guests
• Liaising with different departments
• To maintain and deliver consistent Firmdale standards
• Take instructions and directions from the management team
• Complaint handling

Skills

• Previous experience running Press Junkets in a 5* luxury hotel
• Excellent knowledge of the Entertainment industry, and a solid understanding of the Fashion and Beauty industry is an advantage
• Experience using Opera and Delphi
• The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment
• A good approach to teamwork and ability to manage others
• Excellent communication skills       
• Superb attention to detail
• Excellent personal presentation
• Resilience and drive to get things right first time
