Location: Three Borough Contract - London​

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team working on a whole systems approach health intervention across the London boroughs. Working within Early Years settings, Primary School and Secondary Schools and group based obesity prevention and treatment programmes.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to deliver group based physical activity programmes to children and young people aged 2-18 years old.  You will have a background in delivering physical activity, health improvement or child obesity, preferably within a school based setting and will have experience of engaging and influencing a range of individuals and groups with a stake in improving the obesity landscape.

You should be enthusiastic about improving health and wellbeing and must possess a relevant sports/sports leader/exercise qualification (e.g. NGB Level 2 or REPS Level 2).  You should also be able to work within a team as well as independently, demonstrate well-developed communication skills, as well as strong planning and organisational skills.

We fully support Continued Professional Development and relevant training and support will be provided. Mytime Active is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check and HCPC registration.
