Maintenance & Grounds Apprentice - California Cliffs

Parkdean Resorts are delighted to be recruiting a hands-on Leisure Operations Apprentice with strong organisational skills and a can do attitude into our established team at California Cliffs Holiday Park.

Close to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, and just a 5 minute walk from the gloriously sandy Scratby Beach, California Cliffs Holiday Park in East Anglia is a fun packed Park the whole family will love. The kids will love our pool and flume, or exploring the adventure playground. There's also lots of fantastic family entertainment daytime and evening, making this the perfect Park for your caravan Holiday.

Parkdean Resorts are delighted to be recruiting a Leisure Operations Apprentice for our California Cliffs Holiday Park, based in Great Yarmouth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support the Maintenance team by:

* Carrying out general maintenance and repairs around the Park as requested by the Maintenance Manager or General Manager.

* Providing an effective resource to correct any maintenance issues raised by owners.

* Ensuring that all required maintenance jobs are recorded on our Company system and the job ticket with time taken and parts used is completed.

* Providing an efficient strimming and grass cutting service around the park.

* Providing an efficient support service to resolve guest caravan maintenance problems.

* Siting and de-siting of caravans.

* Carrying out fleet snagging and maintenance Caravan Sales Stock.

* Operating the Park mobile radio system.

Person

The ideal Candidate will:

* Have a passion to work in a Maintenance role.

* Be flexible to work weekends and some evenings.

* Have an understanding of Parkdean Resorts

* Have a desire to work in the Holiday industry.

You will be given an excellent opportunity to work within Maintenance team and gain an understanding of how the department operates.

The successful Candidate will also study for an NVQ Level 2 in Leisure Operations.

Leisure Operations Level 2 - The successful candidate will study towards a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Leisure Operations. Once you've completed the intermediate apprenticeship you may decide to study further at an advanced level.
