GLL, the UK's largest leisure social enterprise is looking for an experienced Music Teacher (Piano & Guitar) to join us at the Academy Performing Arts in the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South East London to teach on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4.00pm - 9.00pm.

This historical building and dedicated performing arts centre in South East London has been offering affordable community arts-based education for over ten years. The continuing success of the centre has seen the expansion of our evening school programmes as well as the creation of new initiatives such as summer schools and our performing arts college.

We're looking for a Music Teacher to help discover, develop and nurture raw talent. A typical day could involve planning lessons, helping to devise the curriculum, assessing development and preparing your students for exams - and you might even get the chance to direct your own shows.

You'll need to be need to be highly-motivated and be able to convey a passion for music and the arts to students, as well as being able to communicate well with both children and parents. You must have experience in teaching ABRSM syllabus and have a good record. You should hold a BA (Hons) in Music (or equivalent) and be accomplished in music/piano accompaniment.
