Assistant Greenkeeper

Assistant Greenkeeper - immediate start - Epsom, Surrey

As the Assistant Green keeper you will be responsible for turf maintenance, ensuring quality and consistency is achieved on both golf courses.

The tree-lined grounds are home to two 18-hole golf courses – the historic Herbert Fowler Old Course and the Coronation Course – which have hosted events including the Bob Hope Classic and the Tesco Pro Am. Today, our superb multinational team maintains and develops the courses, gardens and public spaces within an inspired, environmentally sustainable plan that ranges from course architecture and woodland management to the reintroduction of our own beehives. The golf team typifies what makes the Club such a special place to work.

Essential criteria:

• Agronomic qualification – NVQ 2 or equivalent
• Equipment use competency
• Minimum 5 years in greenkeeping
• Experience in machinery operation
• Clear and relevant understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
