The Company

Due to our continued success, Rush Trampoline Park is seeking to recruit an experienced Duty Manager for its High Wycombe Headquarters.
Rush offers an exciting indoor community facility for families with young children, teenagers and young adults, providing them with an opportunity to safely participate in extreme sports, regardless of their size or physical ability, through an effective combination of fun and entertainment, fitness and training

The concept is built on custom designed, interconnected trampoline playing courts stretching wall-to-wall across a vast area, provide an exhilarating and exciting bouncing experience that can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter what age, size, fitness level or experience.

Rush has secured a key partnership agreement with a significant park operator currently operating in US, Finland, Norway, Denmark and South Africa. This agreement ensures that Rush benefits from the very latest park technology and extensive market experience gained from the largest market in the world.

Rush’s first site opened in High Wycombe in December 2015 and the second site in Birmingham Opened in November 2016. Rush intends to grow rapidly across the UK market through a considered expansion strategy, with a target of operating 5+ parks across the UK within the next 3-5 years.

The Role
We are looking for candidates who have had experience in the leisure environment and have excellent customer service skills.

The role of the Duty Manager will be very ‘hands on’ with duties including the following:

  • Supporting the Senior Management in all areas of the Park.
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to at all times.
  • Able to implement strategies and processes for the park.
  • Opening and Closing the park on a daily basis – ensuring that the park runs smoothly throughout opening hours.
  • Maintaining the best standards and cleanliness throughout the park at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ensuring all staff are undertaking and completing their designated jobs
  • Principle First Aider on site.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all cash handling procedures are adhered to in line with company policies.

The Person

  • Must be a self-starter, motivated individual with excellent leadership skills
  • Must have a clear understanding of all aspects of health and safety
  • Must be a confident and clear communicator who is able to deal with staff and customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience and ability within a similar role
  • Proven experience in customer service and team management
  • A First Aid at Work Qualification, or willingness to undertake a First Aid at Work course.
  • Will be required to undertake a CRB check

Successful candidates will be expected to work a shift pattern which will include some weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.

Salary: £18,000-£22,000
