The Lord Nelson is a stunning looking pub with great amenities (site had an investment in April 2017) in the heart of the community in Sutton, Surrey, with fantastic external areas and car park for up to 25 cars. The Pub has a strong seven days a week food trade and offers a wide range of well-priced food and drinks. It is famous locally for its friendly and warm service, great beer, live entertainment, quiz night and the amazing external areas.

The successful applicant will have two years’ experience of managing a similar style business and of consistently delivering weekly net food sales in excess of £3,500. The right candidate needs to be passionate about cask ales and have a broad experience of delivering a fantastic pub experience, engaging with the local community and also have the ability to recruit, lead and develop a great team.

We are the largest privately-held pub operator in the UK and we’re looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team at Stonegate.

You will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
