The Junior Sous Chef Pastry role:

The Junior Sous Chef's role will be to support the Executive Chef and Senior Sous with the day to day running of the Pastry Kitchen operation. To ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety reporting is up to date. Assist in maintaining standards set by the Executive Chef and ensuring that quality products and ingredients are used and served at all times.

The Junior Sous Chef Pastry will:

• Have relevant experience in 4-5 Star kitchens. NVQ level 1&2 or similar. Level 3 beneficial.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Have good leadership skills.
• Be an excellent team player
• Have computer awareness.
• Have excellent communication skills and confidence to run a service and train the team.
