Receptionist & Sales Administrator - Penmaenmawr

Lyons Holiday Parks are a growing family business looking to recruit a part-time, outgoing, self-motivated Receptionist and Sales Administrator for Lyons Pendyffryn Hall Caravan Park and Coutnry Club in Penmaenmawr.

This position will include some weekend work.

The successful applicant will build rapport with potential holiday home owners who visit the park, provide excellent customer service to our holiday home owners and work well with the park manager as a valuable team member.

The role will include:-

  • Greeting and liaising with new customers in the park managers absence, giving tours of the caravan park and assisting with sales enquiries.
  • Reception duties such as opening and closing the reception on a daily basis, greeting visitors, answering telephone enquiries, message taking, appointment making and accepting payments from customers.
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to the park manager and general assistance to other members of the management team.
  • Providing aftersales customer service and organising for requested aftersales jobs to be completed in a timely manner.
  • Controlling and maintaining Holiday Home Stock.
  • Helping to resolve customer account queries by liaising between our Head Office and the customer.

The ideal candidate will possess:-

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to multi-task several duties in a fast paced deadline sensitive environment
  • Ability to complete daily tasks in a timely manner.

Due to the remote location of our park and need to travel to our Head Office occasionally, a current driving licence and own transport are crucial for this role.

In addition to the above, the candidate must be able to accept direction and to take on additional responsibilities as requested.

Candidates for this role must possess a minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent).  Although not essential, experience of reception duties within the Holiday Home Park industry would be a real advantage as is experience of cash handling.

Rate of Pay

This role pays the National Minimum Wage with the possibility to earn commission in this role.

The hours of work are expected to be up to 35 hours a week spread over 4 or 5 days which will include weekend work.
