What is the main purpose of the role?

As our Director of Sales,You will be responsible for the overall achievement and delivery of the sales for The Principal Edinburgh, Charlotte Square and The Principal Edinburgh, George Street. Maximising sales through structured sales planning and action to achieve/exceed budgeted targets in all revenue areas.

Reporting directly with the Sales Director for Principal Hotels, you will agree key strategic activity for the group. You will manage the day to day activities of the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executive to ensure they are achieving the agreed KPI’s and meeting all company standards

The Ideal Candidate

Our perfect Director of Sales will be naturally confident, highly driven and have a focused and ambitious nature. You will have strong strategic planning skills and have the ability to look ahead and strategies in place to support the plans.

You will have International Hotel sales experience and experience of luxury markets A degree of knowledge of all market segments i.e. corporate, conference and leisure is crucial.

To be considered for this position you will have a minimum 3 years’ experience at Director Level within the Luxury and /or Lifestyle hotel sector. And in addition you will have experience of managing a team of 3+.
