The purpose of the role is to:

To assist the Facilities Manager and Coordinator in the efficient running of the facilities operation for Bourne Leisure. This includes the delivery of all preventative and planned maintenance services and repairs.

Role responsibilities:

  • To provide a Help Desk function to facilitate the mechanical and electrical services to Hemel Support Centre.
  • To be responsible for the efficient operation of the Front of House Reception. This includes the management and development / coaching of relevant team members to provide the service expected.
  • To liaise with the Contract Caterers (Blue Apple) for the day to day operational needs within the Bourne Leisure Roberto's Cafe.
  • To carry out day to day administration of mechanical and electrical services to Hemel Support and satellite offices.
  • To carry out day to day support in respect of facility services to the Hemel support teams.
  • To ensure all Health and Safety aspects are adhered to and up-to-date. This includes the compilation of in-house risk assessments and VDU assessments.
  • To maintain records for First Aid and Fire Marshall personnel, identify training and administer training courses.
  • To issue and update security passes as and when required.
  • To be responsible for the day to day allocation and monitoring of car parking facilities and system.
  • To be responsible for all Facilities budget reconciliation. This includes raising orders on our internal purchase order system iBuy, monitoring expenditure and reconciling on a monthly basis. This to be carried out for both Opex and Capex expenditure.
  • To monitor and record all Facilities Team holidays.
  • To be responsible for monitoring all content on the Bourne Leisure Intranet and co-ordinate with other team members responsible for other areas of the intranet. To also be responsible for uploading of Facilities relevant information.
  • To look at new and innovative ways to improve the running of Facilities to ensure the maximum enjoyment and output from Hemel support team members.
  • To carry out any other ad hoc task as and when required.
