Level 2 Swimming Teacher - Princess Royal Sports Arena, Boston

We need to recruit swimming teachers to help deliver one of the largest and most successful swimming lesson programmes in the UK. Swimming is a key service on offer in-centre & swimming lessons are a fundamental 1Life activity programme with over 20,000 adults and children learning to swim each week.

All levels of lessons are taught & we cater for all ages and abilities, with additional pathways in the higher stages  so you’d have the scope to deliver safe, consistent lessons, give out awards & use our swim portal technology. Dedicated and energetic, you’ll be an ASA qualified teacher level 2 and with National Teaching Plan knowledge, as well as health & safety aware. Friendly, patient and with the ability to motivate pupils and encourage with praise or reward is key.

You’ll be part of a team of teachers that operate throughout the year to ensure continuous learning, development & progression with supplementary courses held throughout the holidays. It would be desirable for you to hold a current Rescue Test or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, however, if not, training will be provided where appropriate.

1Life is a forward thinking lifestyle and management solutions company, who manages the Princess Royal Sports Arena in partnership with Boston Borough Council.

Working for 1Life is rewarding. All staff receive a learning and development plan throughout your career with us giving you clear direction and scope no matter what role you are in. We also offer competitive salaries, excellent company benefits and a comprehensive reward and recognition scheme to ensure that loyalty, dedication and hard work will be rewarded.

1Life is an equal opportunities employer.
