Customer Service and Holiday Advisor - Moira, Derbyshire (Support Centre)​

Full time, permanent position

Working at Forest Holidays isn’t like any ordinary job.  Our business is a people business and we’re in the business of providing our guests with the ultimate holiday experience unmatched anywhere.

The customer experience starts either online or with our Holiday Advisors on the telephone. Supporting our website: answering guest enquiries over the telephone, via web-chat or by email, this is a varied role. 96.6% of our guests say they will return but on the rare occasions when things don’t go as planned we welcome our guests’ feedback. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our response is measured, professional and at all times in line with our strategy to provide extraordinary customer service.

We are available for our potential guests between 8.30am and 9.30pm Monday to Friday so that’s when we need you too… but not all day, every day! We also need you on Saturdays and Sundays working on average two weekends a month.

Benefits: Fabulous open plan offices in a rural location along with a great team are a distinct benefit when added to the competitive salary of £17,000 per annum, bonus, pension, life cover and discounted holidays and childcare vouchers available. Working 37.5 hours a week over 5 days in every 7, on a rota. During the week the hours will be between 8.30am and 9.30 pm. Weekend hours are home working, currently between 8.30 and 9.30 pm. You won't work every weekend unless that is what particularly appeals to you!

First and foremost you will be confident and a great communicator, you will love to engage with people and be interested in them.  A natural born problem solver you will enjoy the environment of a small contact centre, based in our modern offices at Moira, next to Conkers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

With experience in a call handling environment and committed to delivering world class service you maybe ideal to join our highly friendly and supportive team of people who have a passion for customer service and an interest in the outdoors and the leisure industry. With good PC skills, you will be a team player but most importantly you will be a great communicator and thrive on talking to people with a flair for the written word too. Experience of “web chat” would be an advantage.
