We are the largest privately-held pub operator in the UK and we’re looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team at Stonegate.

This is a fantastic General Manager vacancy with a great opportunity to continue to drive sales and profit in this successful pub with a great team. There is plenty of potential to earn bonus with active and passionate leadership being key values to continue and fulfil the pubs sales and profit potential.

The Vineyard is a wonderful town centre pub with a proper pub and locals feel in a growing Kent town centre.

The Vineyard has a good level of food trade at 20% of weekly sales catering to the regulars and town centre customers in the area open for breakfast right through to evenings, the bar comes alive at night with late night DJ’s and weekend events with great sports viewing supported by great reasons to visit all forming and being a key part of the sales drivers. There is huge potential here to continue to grow a successful business and to put your own stamp on a fantastic venue in Sittingbourne.

The venue is a one bar operation with rear garden seating areas with 60 covers including booth covered seating and external sports large screen TV viewing. The pub has built strong links with local community/customers and offers significant opportunity to develop these further and build sales through great service and standards.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with great leadership qualities capable of interacting with food and late night drink customers alike and have a flair for marketing and event management.

You will be able to grow the food and drink sales through excellent customer service and have two years’ experience of managing a similar style business operation previously consistently delivering in excess of £20,000 weekly total net sales.

Food and Late night experience essential.

You will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
