Salary £26,822 – £29,323

Working Pattern- Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend working may be required, with a flexible approach to working patterns.

Hours- 37 Hours Per Week

Location:  Kingsway Leisure Centre but required to work across the borough where necessary

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join our team at Kingsway Leisure Centre as a Senior Operations Manager.

Kingsway Leisure Centre is a large, well-used, vibrant centre centrally located in Widnes, Cheshire. As Senior Operations Manager, you will keep up with emerging industry trends’, ensuring all programming is attractive and fit for purpose, capitalising on revenue for all activities, including pools, fitness, studios and junior activities. You will also mentor and develop your team, serve as operations manager and deputise for the Leisure Centre Manager as required.

You will have hold the following qualifications; CIMSPA Pool Plant Operators Certificate, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Institution of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH).

As an experienced manager, you will have demonstrable experience of managing a team including training and development, performance management and recruitment.

You will also have a proven record in managing and preparing budgets and meeting financial targets.

With previous experience in the Leisure industry, you will have an understanding of membership management and retention systems and knowledge of the principles and practices underlying good practice in health and safety.

Key to the role will be your interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on delivering excellence in customer care.
