Receptionist / Booking Clerk

This role is a bank position with no contracted hours and will be offered hours when required within the patient service team. We are offering an Agreement for Service and not a Contract of Employment.

Set in over 19 acres of private woodland, Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is a haven of tranquillity and repose. As of 1st July 2016, only private patients are treated at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital, making us the only purely private hospital in East Anglia and the first within the Nuffield Health Hospitals group. We are currently registered with the Care Quality Commission for 60 beds

As a Receptionist / Booking Clerk you'll be the face of Nuffield Health. Sensitive to our customers' needs, you'll use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships. You will really put people at ease when they visit your department. This is a varied role and your responsibilities will range from answering the phone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments, through to welcoming patients in person, and directing them to the appropriate changing and waiting room. Crucially, you'll also help the department to run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions.

With great communication skills, you can explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way. Ideally, you'll have experience of working within healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment. You will certainty have good IT and keyboard skills.
