Vyta is the on-demand personal training app-based service that allows clients to book from an elite network of personal trainers at a time and place to suit them. We are now looking for a highly experienced personal trainer with proven success of managing teams of Personal Trainers to join and lead our rapidly expanding team. 

Role

As the Fitness Manager, you will manage, support and mentor a team of up to 25 personal trainers, who are all mobile and servicing clients located within London Zones 1-3. You will oversee all client programmes, be responsible for ensuring adequate coverage of trainers across London, provide outstanding customer service, obtain client feedback and be involved in the recruitment of your team and providing sales options to clients.

You will report to the Managing Director and Head of Operations. Your role will be largely office based on a part-time basis with some expectation to meet with your trainers remotely.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is:

• A strong communicator with excellent client facing skills
• Able to work both individually and within a team
• An advocator of health and fitness
• Able to manage a team of up to 25 personal trainers
• Provide on-going training, support and advice to personal trainers
• Provide customer service and sales support to clients through phone calls
• Ensure availability of the trainers is sufficient to cover London zones 1-3.
• Interview and induct new Personal Trainers
• Meet with Head of Operations/MD on a regular basis
• Be responsive to client and trainer communications

• Personal Training Certification to REPs level 3 or above

Required experience: 

• Personal training 5+ years (essential)
• Management and Leadership experience (essential)
• Customer Service experience (essential)
• Sales experience
• IT skills
