Spa Receptionist - The Carrick Spa at Cameron House, Alexandria

40 Hours, 5 days from 7 including weekends, NMW/NLW)

The Carrick Spa is part of our Luxury five-star resort Cameron House and located 2.5 miles along the road from the main house hotel. Between the Carrick Spa and our Beauty Bar within the Hotel we offer an exceptionally wide range of treatments and packages. Our Spa boasts 17 treatment rooms, beauty bar with 2 treatment rooms and hair station. We offer a wide range of facilities for our guests to enjoy including roof top pool, hydro pool, swimming pool and a range of 7 different thermal experiences

Shifts vary to accommodate opening hours with typical shift times of 6.30am-3pm, 9-5.30pm, 1.30-10pm, however these may change to business needs.

Here at the Carrick we pride ourselves on exceeding our guest’s expectations both in the service they receive from our team throughout their visit and the high standard of the facilities we have to offer. You will be the first impression of the Spa and therefore it is vital that you provide a 5* service for all our guests.

As Spa Receptionist will be required to:

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Check guests in on arrival and check out guests on departure from the Spa
  • Give guests a tour around the facilities and highlighting all the key areas within the Spa
  • Answering phones and responding to messages
  • Dealing with enquiries on the phone, face to face and through email
  • Making reservations
  • Spa diary management
  • Daily banking and cash handling
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Retail sales
  • Pool water testing

Skills/ Experience Required

  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
  • To take a real pride in being clean, neat and tidy
  • To enjoy being busy
  • Good level of spoken English and strong telephone skills
  • Good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
  • To be able to work shifts that generally will be between 6:30am and 10pm, which will include weekends and bank holidays

Due to the location of the Carrick own transport would be beneficial
