Assistant Restaurant Manager, One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow 

One Devonshire Gardens is set in a tree lined Victorian terrace in the fashionable West End of Glasgow. It is a step apart from the usual Hotel Du Vin standards and has an enviable reputation for service and style.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager at One Devonshire Gardens has the privilege of working in a 3 AA rosette restaurant and will be expected to maintain and, indeed, exceed current standards. A previous knowledge of working at this level or similar will be beneficial.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will take responsibility for welcoming guests to the restaurant in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail. As part of the role you will be expected to be the host delivering amazing hospitality and ensuring that all guest expectations are met. You will have responsibility for the team, allocating weekly and daily duties and keeping them motivated. You will be required to deliver the pre-service briefings, manage the team rota and place orders with suppliers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands-on supervisor who has excellent attention to detail.

Experience of working in a similar quality restaurant is required and knowledge of food, wine and beverage is an advantage. You must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile. This is a great opportunity to develop yourself to a Manager level.
