GLL is looking for a Customer Service Supervisor based at Thame Leisure Centre in Thame, Oxfordshire to ensure high standards of service and customer care throughout the facility. As a social enterprise, people and community are at the heart of everything we do and we want everyone who walks through our doors to have the same great experience so that they keep coming back. Our users range from babies to older people and come from very diverse backgrounds. Customers use the centre in a variety of ways including gym sessions, swimming lessons, disability groups, health intervention programmes and group exercise classes to name a few. As a Front of House Supervisor, you'll lead and inspire the customer service and sales teams to deliver service excellence with whoever they're dealing with.

A real people person, your previous management experience in a high-level customer service environment will have given you the knowledge to design and implement procedures for reception functions and complaint handling as well as training and developing your team. You'll understand the implications of working in a public building and will ensure that all work adheres to Health & Safety legislation. You'll be confident and motivational and able to change and improve behaviours in others so that the centre and its team continues to be high-functioning and high-performing. It goes without saying that you'll be IT literate, have business acumen and a good understanding of financial and budget management.
