About this opportunity...

We currently have a vacancy for a Recruitment Administrator to join our Talent Team, on a temporary basis, for 3-6 months.

The roles you will be recruiting for will help support the expansion of our PEP&CO brand, selling fashion and clothing lines within our Poundland stores!

 

You’ll be supporting the recruitment of a new role of “Clothing Manager” within a PEP&CO shop in a shop.  There will be vacancies in multiple locations, so the ability to manage this volume in a fast paced environment is a must, as well as being able to track, monitor and report back on progress!

You'll support the team of Resourcing specialists by taking ownership of the start of the recruitment process, including: using our careers site and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to advertise roles, screening candidates and shortlisting candidates.  You will liaise with the Resourcing team to ensure the best candidates are put forward for interview, and that support is quickly identified for any hard to fill vacancies. 

You will also be a point of contact for the Retail Store Managers and Area Sales Managers for any queries, and supporting them in arranging interviews or assessment centres.

It goes without saying that you will have a passionate for administration as well as people, and be a bit of whizz on Excel as you’ll be producing weekly progress reports to Key Senior Managers within the business.

About You...

We're ideally looking for applications from experienced Recruitment Administrators with experience gained in agency or in-house recruitment roles, who have:

  • Significant history of successfully managing the recruitment process
  • Have experience in working in a high volume environment.
  • Great communication skills to engage with both internal stakeholders and also applicants
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet required deadlines
  • Good with a PC and happy using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Worked with candidate management systems or an ATS
