Management Accounts Assistant
 

Role Title: Management Accounts Assistant

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Role Objective

The ever expanding Britannia Hotel group (currently 53 hotels and 6 holiday parks) with a head office based in Hale Cheshire, are looking to recruit a Management Accounts Assistant. You will have responsibility for a varied series of tasks for 10 hotels and report to the Financial Controller.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Monthly reconciliations.
  • Journals, accruals and prepayments.
  • Assisting Treasury Department with queries.
  • Communicating with controllers at your hotels.

Person Specification

A passion for numbers & accuracy is vital, as is adeptness at paying attention to detail. Being able to work well within a small management accounts team and working alongside the Treasury Department.

Competency in IT, multitasking and being able to prioritise your workload, are fundamental to this role. The ideal candidate must have a professional approach to their work, together with an ability to be discreet, diplomatic, reliable, and trustworthy.

The position will ideally suit someone from a management accounts background with the ability to adapt to perform tasks in other areas of the business. Every day will be different.
