Head Chef – French Alps – Ski Resort
What will I be doing?
As a Head Chef you will be responsible for providing all meals within the hotel ensuring that high standards of health and hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen in accordance to European, local regulations and company guidelines.
You will be responsible for providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and staff meals. You will also plan the weekly menu, considering all dietary requirements and ensuring that you are working within your allocated budget.
As the Head Chef you will need to be aware of your stock levels and make sure that all orders are submitted in a timely manner and all deliveries are accurately checked, stored and food samples are taken in accordance with HACCP regulations.

We are looking for someone who has experience within a similar role and can prove that they are an effective team leader.
A qualification in Health & Hygiene and within Professional Cookery is highly desirable but not essential.
A can do attitude and pride in what you do is essential, as the Head Chef is often a role model to the rest of the team who work within the kitchen.
