No. 42 by GuestHouse, Margate
Margate is the British seaside town that has held its own since it became the place to be in 1730. And we’re sitting on the front in the characterful Old Town, bathing in all the glory of the light dancing on the water.
The old hotel we’ve made our own is one of those Victorian beauties that sits elegantly poised above the main swathe of golden sands, giving its guests dreamy views across the bay. Bedrooms are sometimes balconied and always rich with heritage detailing. There are three places devoted to food and drink - all with their own thing going on and one with bird's eye views, but all holding local ingredients and skills on high. The treatment rooms are there for you and your wellbeing. And, as ever, service is with a very big smile.
