Leisure Club Manager - Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel & Spa

The new and exciting position of Leisure Club Manager is now available at the Ardoe House Hotel Spa.

The successful candidate will report to the Hotel Operations Manager and work alongside a Beauty Manager.

The Ardoe House Hotel Spa offers our spa guests, members, and hotel guests a personalised service in the tranquillity of a county estate setting.

With investment expected in the coming months our Spa includes 5 beauty rooms, one of which is a couple’s room, nail station as well as an 18 metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub, gym and aerobics studio.

As a hands on Leisure Club Manager you will lead the Leisure team and be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service whilst maximising profits and exploiting opportunities for business growth in membership sales.

Main Responsibilities

• To effectively lead and develop a highly motivated team of 4 maintaining agreed standards service and constantly exceeding guest expectations.
• Create a consistent club journey that ensures 100% guest satisfaction and return business.
• To develop effective sales strategies for the club, in order to gain further memberships and retain the current membership base.
• To comply with all legal requirements in respect of health, safety and welfare of all members of staff and guest.
• Ensure that all members and hotel guests receive a club introduction and support during their time in the pool, gym or studio.
• Manage the club cleanliness and hygiene.
• The ideal candidate with hold a pool plant operators certificate and be competent in all matters related to pool plant and safety.
