The park

Located in North Wales, offering spectacular views of Snowdonia, Brynteg Holiday Park offers a variety of leisure activities for our customers to enjoy. The leisure complex itself boasts a lovely pool as well as it’s very own fabulous spa where our customers can unwind during their holiday break.

The role

A fantastic opportunity to join our brilliant team here at Brynteg, managing the day to day operation of our health and leisure complex, ensuring it runs smoothly at all times. You’ll lead and motivate the team to deliver an outstanding experience to our customers, developing employees to achieve exceptional results. You’ll deliver regular training to the team, ensuring they are equipped with the right skills and have everything they need to be able to undertake their duties efficiently.  

You’ll be responsible for managing sporting activities, ensuring a full schedule of leisure activities/events are provided for various age groups. You’ll proactively introduce new leisure activities, keeping the leisure calendar fresh and encouraging increased participation. You’ll also be responsible for closely monitoring budgets and P&L, working towards proposed targets/objectives.

Health and safety is of vital importance and you will ensure the pool area is continually staffed by qualified team members at all times, for both the comfort and safety of customers using the facilities. You’ll also ensure all the leisure facilities are cleaned to an exceptional standard. You will regularly maintain the pool, ensuring it meets the required standards and in general will make certain the health and leisure complex is fully compliant will all legislative requirements.

Experience

You’ll have previous experience as a Leisure Manager or will have significant previous experience as an Assistant Manager at a large leisure operational centre. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential. A National Pool Plant Operators Certificate (CIMSPA or equivalent) is highly desirable.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in order to undertake this role.

Pay

The pay is £22,000-£24,000, depending on experience, plus bonus potential. Benefits such as holiday and pension are also on offer.
