Conference and Banqueting involves the promotion of a venue for private or corporate functions. The job may require you to see an event through from beginning to end and can be very satisfying. To be successful in this job you will need the ability to communicate well, be extremely organised, efficient and personable.
You find these roles in a variety of venues and hotels mainly. Operations is responsible for the planning and implementation of the event while sales are responsible for the bookings of the venue.
