Deputy General Manager - Table Table - Kendal

The Wakefield Arms is one of our beautiful Table Table restaurants which is set in the heart of the stunning Lake District town of Kendal. We offer delicious pub food whilst taking in the stunning views of this picturesque part of England. Plus our excellent team look after each guest from the moment they walk in so they can relax and enjoy the best of what we have to offer. We are now in need of a strong Assistant Manager or a current Deputy General Manager to help assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the restaurant. You will help train, coach and develop our team to ensure they provide a world class service, achieving world class results. You will be great with guests and ensure the team are interacting and up-selling as much as possible, this is a seasonal site and is very popular with families.

Wow, in this second-in-command role you could be first in line to be a General Manager faster than you think! When your GM is absent, you'll have all the responsibility of running the show, leading and motivating your team to make our food the hero and deliver stunning service standards. You'll need oodles of confidence and initiative as you put our customers at the heart of everything you do. You'll solve problems before they happen, delegate tasks effectively and spot any training needs amongst your team so that your people remain the Main Ingredient of the business. That you've got natural people management skills and the commercial savvy to drive sales and profit goes without saying.
