Sommelier - Surrey

Wentworth Club is looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our Food & Beverage team.

Wentworth Club is an exclusive private members club on the verge of embarking on a £10 million refurbishment programme that will transform our Food & Beverage offering.

As our Sommelier here at Wentworth you will be responsible creating an exclusive wine cellar that enhances and compliments our culinary dining experience. As the expert you will be responsible for the wine education of our culinary service team on the pairing of our wines with our restaurant dishes.

You will be responsible for researching and sourcing new wines in keeping with our food offering, our London Chateau Letour Club and exclusive private members expectations.

You will be responsible for the purchasing, control and preservation of our wine cellar.

You will proactively educate, pair and sell our wines to our members to enhance their experience and maximise revenue.

-You will have a real love for food and fine wines.

-At least 5 years’ experience

-Certified Sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET level 3

-Extensive wine and food knowledge

-Fantastic communication & sales skills

-Intuitive and intelligent service style.
