The Falkland Arms is a beautiful 16th Century building, which is still run as a traditional, local pub, located in the village of Great Tew. The flagstone floors, oak beams and inglenook fireplace are cosy in winter and our beautiful gardens are enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year. We are famed for our selection of beers, whiskies and country wines and we offer superb food and accommodation. We have 6 letting rooms at the Inn and a separate thatched cottage.

The Ideal Candidate…

An experienced and talented Head Chef or a strong Sous ready to take the helm. With a flair for presentation and a stickler for quality, you'll have the skills to run a busy kitchen shift in a high-quality operation. From online ordering and controlling stock, through portion and wastage control, you’ll have sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene, and the ability to work as part of a dedicated hospitality team – your contribution will certainly count.

You will be expected to be involved in the development of the menus and specials with the General Manager to keep the offering fresh and exciting. The menu is bespoke to house and we pride ourselves on the quality ingredients we purchase. We offer a high quality but fun working environment within a great team that are eager to grow and develop the business.
