As a Health & Beauty Manager at our Virgin Active Health and Beauty Spa you’ll offer so much more than a complete pampering service. You’ll ensure that financial targets are met through effective management, appropriate marketing and a strong sales ethos.

And, it will be up to you to make sure the Health and Beauty Spa service proposition and Virgin Active brand standards are communicated and consistently adhered to.

Friendly and approachable to members and other staff, you have strong interpersonal skills and previous experience of dealing with complaints politely and efficiently. You must have an NVQ level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy – or an ITEC or equivalent in this subject.

You have advanced people management skills and can inspire and motivate a team to achieve challenging targets and meticulous standards, while delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Previous beauty therapy experience is desirable, but not essential, while ESPA, Guinot, Elemis and Dr Murad experience is an advantage.  Product training is provided. Previous experience of managing a beauty store or salon is desirable but not essential.

This position will require an applicant undertaking / having recently undertaken a Disclosure check by the Criminal Records Bureau.

This is a full time position working 32-40 hours per week.

Flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business. Shifts will include early mornings, late evenings over Monday – Sunday on a rota basis.
