Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano”: According to an old Italian proverb, “If you have an easy-going and relaxed approach to life, you’ll live more healthily and longer”- we liked this saying so much, we created our name from it.

Back on 22nd of October, 2002, the first Vapiano opened in Hamburg, Germany. Two years later, our founders decided to set Vapiano on a world tour and today there are already over 150 Vapiano’s in 31 countries on 4 continents, with many more international openings planned for the future.

In the UK we have 3 restaurants in London serving thousands of guests every single day. Our 4th opening will be in Manchester this autumn.

Our chefs don’t work in a kitchen - instead we cook right in front of guests. Pasta, pizzas, antipasti and salads are ordered directly by guests at the individual stations within the restaurant and we prepare all dishes to order so guests have their meal exactly how they want it.

Our ten types of pasta is made fresh each day in our bespoke pasta machine in each restaurant. Our pizza dough, our sauces and dressings are all prepared in-house and guaranteed to be made of the finest ingredients.

Our management team are focused on the guest experience and ensure that our large restaurants run smoothly.
