Senior Manager – Urban Retreat at Harrods

We are one of the biggest salons in the world, with our spectacular flagship on the fifth floor of Harrods.

We are recruiting for a Retail Manager to lead the retail team and drive sales. The successful candidate will have experience in luxury beauty and skin care with a real passion for the industry. This is a hands on role where you will lead from the front motivating, training and supporting the team on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the retail team and drive retail sales
• Be a highly visible presence motivating and coaching the team on the shop floor
• Recruit, manage and train the team
• Set and monitor individual sales targets
• Set and maintain customer service standards
• Sales reporting including stock and inventory management
• Duty management shifts as required

Required Experience:

• Good communication skills with excellent levels of spoken and written English
• 5 years retail sales experience
• Minimum 2 year management / supervisory experience
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Commercially astute with the ability to achieve targets and manage profitability
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and high level of numeracy
• Enjoy working in highly competitive, fast-paced environment
