Tonic have been tasked with looking for a Chef Manager for a contract catering site in Birmingham. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, knowledgable and knows how to get the best from their team.

Some details about this chef manager job - 

  • Full responsiblity for the site that operates Monday to Friday
  • To manage, train and develop the team 
  • Develop new F&B offerings in line with current trends
  • To be commercially aware and able exploit potential increases in revenue
  • Mon - Fri, 7 am start, 40 hours a week

  • Proven people management skills
  • Financial awareness is essential you must have managed a profit and loss account in the past and be able to take advantage of commercial opportunities

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent craft skills, be flexible in their approach and able to work on their own initiative and in a team environment. This is an exciting role where the focus is on preparing and serving fresh food to a high standard for an open staff restaurant and hospitality department.

Food is based on high street trends, street food and worldwide based full of fragrance and flavour. Dishes that can be served in various ways such as deconstructed to suit all customers taste.

The Ideal candidate will have a can do attitude and must be organised and flexible with a passion to try new ideas- great personality (this is key) as will be cooking front of house
