Hotel Reception Supervisor - Seasonal

We are THORPE PARK Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Reception Supervisor to join us at THORPE PARK Resort!  In this role you will deliver unique and exceptional guest experiences by creating lasting memories at the Hotel Like No Other.  As the face of our unique Hotel you will lead your team of Receptionists through a motivated, engaging and dynamic approach whilst also undertaking Reception and Duty Manager shifts for the Hotel.

Driven by our Daily Guest Feedback Scores, you will build rapport with your team maximizing their product knowledge, coaching them as they develop in their role to increase productivity and guest satisfaction. You can also expect to get involved with the usual tasks such as assisting with personal development of team members, costume standards, recruitment, training and writing rotas.  You will be a natural and strong communicator, keen to be recognised and develop your career. Your style will be flexible, confident and fun filled! Knowledge and Experience of Opera PMS is desirable but not essential.

This role is a full time contract running from February 2017 until 2nd November 2017, working 5 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. There will be a mixture of early shifts, 07:00- 15:00, and late shifts, 14:30-22:30.  You will need to consider how you will get to and from the ‘Island Like No Other’ before applying for this role as public transport can be very limited at the start and end of the day.
