At THORPE PARK Resort we are recruiting a team like no other for our 2017 Season.  Come and join the fun!

At THORPE PARK Resort, hearts beat faster and memories last forever.  2017 will be the Resort’s most exciting year yet, as we experience an all new terrifying destination on board Derren Brown’s Ghost Train.

We are looking for people who can work Full Time, Part Time and during school/college/university holidays. Our positions are seasonal with contracts on offer until 1st November 2017. We have a variety of shifts available including early mornings, day time, evenings and night shifts, with contracts ranging from 5 – 35 hours.

The departments we are currently recruiting for are:

 

  • Admissions –The first team to welcome our guests onto the Resort, operating till systems, selling tickets and upselling Annual Passes, working in the car park and on turnstiles
  • Cash Office – Working behind the scenes to make every pound count
  • Entertainments – Immersing our guests in interactive attractions, club nights, corporate events and other offerings
  • Fastrack & VIP- Selling Fastrack tickets and packages, looking after our VIP guests and hosting VIP events and experiences
  • First Aid – Our First Aiders are based in our onsite first aid centre but could work all over the Resort. You will use your first aid at work qualification to treat guests and employees
  • Food & Beverage – Feeding the fun! Preparing and serving our food or interacting with our hungry guests
  • Guest Experience – Assisting guests with enquiries and accessibility across resort, handling any complaints guests have both on the day and after their visit
  • Hotel Reception – Working in our unique Thorpe Shark Hotel as the face of the Shark, Checking our guests In and Out and dealing with enquiries throughout the day and overnight. Candidates must be over 18 for this department
  • Hotel Restaurant - Feeding the fun in either the Fin’s Bar & Grill Kitchen or the Hotel Restaurant, preparing or serving food and drink to our Hotel guests
  • Park Excellence - Managing our guest’s expectations, challenging standards with attention to detail and taking a lead role in queuing across the resort
  • Retail – With nearly 10 different shops on Resort, offer a memorable experience to all our guests by selling our souvenirs, gifts and confectionary and keeping shops fully stocked and to a high standard
  • Rides & Attractions - Operating and Hosting on our rides and interacting with our guests putting the thrills into their day
  • Security– Protecting our Resort! Candidates for this department must be over 18 and be SIA trained
  • Site Presentations: Working together to keep the Resort and our Washrooms at a high standard of cleanliness, through the day and overnight
  • Store & Warehouse – Managing the warehouse and stocking the park. Candidates must be over 18 for this department
  • Waste Management – Management of recycling and collection of waste. Candidates must be over 18 with a full UK driving licence for this department
