Overall Responsibility of the Health & Safety Program within Food & Beverage, controlling the Hazzard Analysis Critical Control Points for all Areas serving Food and Beverage for Human Consumption. 

Contribute Daily to the Application of Effective Health, Safety & Environmental Management within the F&B Product Delivery, Receipt, and Waste Management System. 

Ability to Oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure Regulatory Agency Compliance i.e. labelling, Write, Implement, and Manage HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures 

Conduct daily, on a random basis, Internal Audits of all Food & Beverage area’s in accordance to the local HACCP Regulations and Standards to Assist in Compliance Reviews, General Risk Assessments and other Safety Assessments to Support HS&E Assist the Communication Throughout all Culinary Operations 

Maintain relevant Health, Safety & Environmental logs, and Documentation. 

Prepare Applicable HSE Reports as Necessary. 

Participate in Detailed Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis 

Assist in the Development and Presentation of Relevant HSE training 

Conduct all new Hire & Refresher HACCP Training 

Promote Incident Prevention for the Benefit of Guests & Employees alike Ability to Work with Employees and Achieve Cultural Change in the Face of Potential Resistance Observe working Environment and Encourages Safe Working Practices, Corrects Obvious Hazards Immediately or Reports them to the Proper Personnel. 

Maintain Positive and Proactive Relations with Managers and Employees, as well as our Customers and Regulatory Agencies  Assist and support all External 3rd party Health & Safety Audits Perform Audit check on all First Aid Supplies, Ensuring that all Boxes are Fully Stocked for Operational needs. Perform other Work Related Tasks as Required as Assigned

Job Summary:

Experience: As Health & Safety Manager, you are expected to show a Desire and Passion to Anticipate and Meet the needs of our colleagues and Guests alike, and to Work to the highest Standards set. You will be Required to have a minimum of 8 years working in a similar position with Food & Beverage experience, preferably within a Luxury Hotel or Restaurant. Culinary Trained Degree and Supervisory Role in High Volume preferred.

Knowledge/Ability/Skills : As Health & Safety Manager you will be required to show an extensive Knowledge in HACCP and all aspects of Food Handling & Sanitation standards, show Strong Leadership & Teamwork skills, must possess the ability to assume command and manage all aspects of the Health & Safety needs. Must command the ability to be proactive and show a good sense of follow-up. Must possess Computer Skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, … Access and Power Point preferred. Must be able to Supervise, Train and Direct employees, Communicate in English the Performance Expectations in accordance with Health Safety, Environmental and HAPPC requirements.

Requirements: As Health & Safety Manager you are required to participate in daily meetings, liaise closely with the Engineering department in all equipment that needs proactive maintenance to keep them working to code.

Health & Safety: As Health & Safety Manager you are required to show extensive knowledge of all Fire Marshall and Health Code regulations. You must establish and oversee daily inspections of all kitchen areas in regards to cleanliness, organization and health & safety standards.

Expectations: As Health & Safety Manager you are expected to be on duty for a minimum of 10 hours per scheduled work day and be the liaison and link between the Hotel Management, the Chefs office and the line level employees
