You know there’ll be pressure, but our menus aren't simple branded corporate ones, we allow our chefs to add their own flavour and flair to our menus and delight our customers. You’ll consistently produce quality food whether its for our AA Rosette restaurant, room service, functions or Courtyard Bar - there's great variety in the role and you'll be capable to developing the skills of the brigade as well as maintaining the stock control and keeping a safey and hygienic kitchen at all times

More about the role

  • To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of food preparations
  • To deputise in the Head Chefs absence
  • Assisting with the control and ownership for the management of the kitchen department 
  • Ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered and budgeted profitability achieved
  • Takes care of the working practicalities, ensuring food is served to the highest standards
  • Responsible for training staff, introducing new techniques and working methods
  • Implementing an exceptional standard of quality control ensuring each dish that goes out does so under scrutiny
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation or equivalent required and Food Hygiene certificate
  • Daily stock ordering
  • To ensure at all times a high standard of cleanliness and practices is maintained, thereby ensuring all statutory legislation is met

Salary and benefits:

Benefits are none contractual and may vary according to status and length of service
