The Hermitage Hotel occupies the best location of any hotel in Bournemouth, where you can take to the beach without crossing a single road.

We are looking a professional, smart Housekeeper, experienced, efficient with an keen eye for detail to join our management team. You must have previous Housekeeping Head/Supervisor position in a 4/5 star hotel.

Duties:

• A hands on role
• Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies, such as soap, shampoo, etc.
• Controlling supply costs, as well as laundry, maintenance and wages
• Scheduling staff rotas
• Overseeing stocktakes, budgets and all paperwork, maintenance reports and safety audits
• Ensuring lost property is kept safely and returned to its owner
• Overseeing supervisors and linen room
• Overseeing all public rooms and bedrooms of the hotel are cleaned to the highest standards
• Training new staff

Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
