Creative Marketing Coordinator - Calcot Manor Tetbury

Calcot Hotels is a small privately owned company with a collection of four award winning hotels and a village pub. It is not a group, but a collection, each hotel having its own style and personality and offering different and unique experiences to its guests.

We are seeking a Creative Marketing Coordinator to assist in all aspects of marketing including creative copywriting for both print including brochures and Digital for websites and newsletters, across the collection alongside the Group Marketing Manager. Each hotel has its own individual style, tone of voice and brand – so being able to communicate in different voices and appeal to different audiences and target markets is key. Our hotels are marketed as individual properties, as well as being part of a collection. This role will play a vital role within the Marketing team and the ability to multi task and deliver on budget and to deadline is essential.

The ideal candidate will have worked within the hospitality industry, have good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, have a passion for good food and all things hotel related. Knowledge of web design, HTML mailers is essential, with a desire to be aware of current marketing trends that includes print, digital and social media. Creatively using ideas to suggest new and exciting marketing opportunities for each of the hotels to maintain our current position and to ensure we are always one step ahead.

The Group Marketing Manager will lead the strategic approach, where you’ll work together brainstorming new ideas and developing further the current marketing activities.

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • Flexibility, team player and ability to multi-task
  • Super creative with a strong design portfolio
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative eye when managing photo shoots
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of web design and html
  • Identify strategies and objectives for property initiatives and bring them to life through communications
  • Understands and masters informal tones for writing about each property
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or jeopardising deadlines is essential

The role is based at Calcot Manor, near Tetbury, Gloucestershire. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
