We are a unique venue that has hosted the Ryder Cup four times, we have three courses and a mini golf course set over 550 acres of land. Our business aims to be the number one Hotel and Resort in the UK.

Key responsibilities:

• To work as part of a maintenance team on shifts as required based on business demand
• To ensure work is in line with company policies in relation to appearance and timekeeping
• Attend meetings and training as required by the Property Manager
• To ensure that all resort areas are maintained in good working order and all defects are reported and acted upon
• Maintain outside furniture (sanding down and varnishing)
• Painting of all surfaces within the resort including skirting boards, dado rails etc.  Where necessary this will include rubbing down, filling and painting.
• Painting and hanging wallpaper around the resort, including filling, sanding and applying finish
• Completing ceiling work to include artexing, filling holes, sanding and finishing
• Ability to react to situations that require cross section of expertise to alleviate problems that may affect the efficient operation of the resort or the safety of guests or employees
• To carry out maintenance tasks as directed by the Property Manager
• To ensure workshop and working areas are clean and tidy at all times
• To keep account of stock and equipment
• Be aware of budgetary restraints and work within guidelines
• Complete purchase order process prior to the ordering of any goods
