Sports Coordinator - Royston Leisure Centre

40 hours per Week

Stevenage Leisure Limited (SLL) is a registered charity, one of the UK’s leading ‘leisure trusts’, a community-based and focused Non-Profit Distributing Organisation. We currently work closely in partnership with local authorities in Hertfordshire Bedfordshire and Rutland to manage 18 leisure and cultural facilities across 10 towns.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and organised person to lead on all aspects of the activity programme and sports development at Royston Leisure Centre.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working with National Governing Bodies for key sports, as well as local sports bodies, schools and the general public, to ensure that Royston Leisure Centre has a well-developed and successful sports development programme
• Lead on managing the centre’s AquaEd and SportEd schemes

What we are looking for:

• A good knowledge of Sports Development within a leisure centre environment.
• Ideally the suitable candidate will have coaching qualifications
• Be a qualified swimming instructor

You will need to be flexible on working hours, as shifts will include evenings and weekends.
