Senior Leisure Assistants - Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre

39 Hours per week

We are currently seeking experienced Leisure Assistants, who looking to progress and take the next steps as a Senior Leisure Assistant. You will oversee and mentor a team of Leisure Assistants, and provide high quality Sport and Leisure services to our customers. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform Lifeguard duties and be responsible for the cleanliness of the pool environment
• Maintenance of the facility
• Assist in the setting up and dismantling of equipment and assist customers in their use of the facility.
• You will also be responsible for the supervision of the Leisure Assistant team when on shift and will act as Duty Manager when required

What we are looking for:

• You will need to possess excellent communication and team working skills
• You should be hard working and have a conscientious attitude
• A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and experience at a Wetside Leisure facility are essential
• First Aid at Work and Pool Plant Qualifications would be advantageous but not necessary.
