ASSITANT MANAGER, Conwy

The Erskine Arms is a new and exciting project that will be opening Spring 2017.  What was ‘The Malt Loaf’ is being taken back to its roots as ‘The Erskine Arms’ and will be a rustic and traditional foodie pub in the heart of the Conwy walls serving the finest in fresh locally sourced produce.  There will also be 10 boutique guest bedrooms creating the perfect retreat in the centre of the town.

We are currently looking for an ASSISTANT MANAGER to be part of our management team. You will be instrumental in creating our reputation for great food and customer service and help to build our long term success.

Responsibilities will include assisting and deputising for the manager in its day to day operations.

AS ASSISTANT MANAGER:

• You will need an outgoing personality, bags of enthusiasm and an ability to get on with anyone and everyone.
• Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred, a love and knowledge of food and drink and especially beer would be a great advantage.
• Experience of dealing with and managing people is a must…the more varied the people the better.
• You need to be a team player and have a passion for working in the industry.

HOURS OF WORK

Full time position.

SALARY & REWARD

Salary would be £21,000 -£23,000 per annum appropriate for the experience & expertise of the successful applicant, plus contributory pension scheme, company staff discounts and employee benefits. We’ll provide all the training you need and more to make sure you’ve the confidence and knowledge to do the job and make the Erskine tick.
