COMMIS CHEF, Conwy

The Erskine Arms is a new and exciting project that will be opening Spring 2017.  What was ‘The Malt Loaf’ is being taken back to its roots as ‘The Erskine Arms’ and will be a rustic and traditional foodie pub in the heart of the Conwy walls serving the finest in fresh locally sourced produce.  There will also be 10 boutique guest bedrooms creating the perfect retreat in the centre of the town.

We are looking for a COMMIS CHEF to help assist the kitchen team in creating, preparing and cooking a menu of home-made freshly prepared British dishes. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable person to join our kitchen operation.

We are passionate about food and prepare everything in house to a high standard using fresh ingredients and local produce. Our menus reflect this and change regularly.  This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Commis Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role.

As Commis Chef you will work closely all chefs in all sections of the kitchen.  Some experience for the role would be vital but training would be given onsite and throughout your progression.  You will be a team player and have a passion for working in the industry.  You will be ambitious and want to improve yourself and the company.

PAY

Pay meets national minimum wage.

HOURS OF WORK

Full time and part time work available, weekend work included.
