French Speaking Bar Staff - Ski Resort, France

What will I be doing?

As a French Speaking Bar staff your responsibilities will include serving food and drink to the residents and non-residents that come into the hotel. You will work in the Restaurant, bar and Terrace. All of our French Speaking Bar staff will be based in Les Menuires in the Three Vallees Ski Area at the Hotel Skilt.

You will be required to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our customers and encourage them to use the bar. You will work as a team to devise new promotions and events to increase revenue.

Great attention to detail is a must,  particularly when charging and taking money for food and drinks purchased by customers.  Other duties will include Stock taking and cleaning of the bar, terrace and lounge areas.  Your manager may also ask you to help in other departments within the hotel where required.

As a French Speaking Bar staff member, you will need to be confident and personable, we pride ourselves on our customer service and we are looking for staff who can champion this.

Experience working in a bar is desirable but not essential. Team work is paramount to the success of the hotel bar, we have both residents and non-residents frequenting the bar and restaurant, therefore excellent communication is required between the front and back of house departments.

The Skilt is a very fast paced environment and the ability to use your initiative and think on your feet is important.  Please note that in order to be eligible for this role you must speak French to a conversational level to apply for this role.
