Summer job - maintenance in the french alps!

What will I be doing?

Working under the guidance of the company maintenance manager your transport to the Alps, accommodation, materials and food are all included as part of the package you receive. You will be required to bring a basic set of handtools and cordless drill/screwdriver… suitable for the type of work you will be undertaking. Larger more specialist tools will be provided or hired as required by our maintenance manager.

The opportunity to experience this stunning destination will see you working a 5 day week Monday to Friday, weekends at your Leisure to experience the Alps at their summer best, often high 30degrees. You might also want to enjoy some of the activities of the Alps ranging from walking to golf to downhill mountain biking as basic examples.

The work load and specific projects require a high level of detail particularly with regards to local legislation. We therefore require people who have a qualification in either carpentry, electrics, plumbing or decorating. While practising your particular trade you will also need to demonstrate a high level of flexibility to assist in the many general maintenance requirements that will come up.

The maintenance program runs from approximately the 20th April to end of October depending on progression. You will have the chance to return to the UK for two specific weeks in July if you so require.
